Starting more....finishing nothing.

I had a conversation on the phone with my daughter last night, telling her that I have multiple bears in all phases of unfinished and, for some unknown reason, I keep starting more. Knowing me better than I sometimes know myself, she said it was because that's what's going on in my life right now. The whole living between two homes, having one on the market, running two businesses...and everything being so unsettled. She's right! Smart cookie, that girlie of mine!

Thinking along these lines then.....if I finish all these bears (and don't start any more) will life BE more in balance......OR, will I just have a bunch of finished bears?!!! HA!! *wink*

A lovely Friday to you! Warmest bear hugs, Aleta

Aleta,
Sounds like your daughter is right about things, as you said!
I can't imagine being pulled in so many directions. Maybe if you spend the weekend finishing your bears, aat least one job will be taken care of LOL!
You had better slow down, girlie, or those energizer bunny batteries will sieze on you again!
Take care of yourself!!!

hugs,

Brenda

Aleta,

I agree I think your daughter was right... maybe you need to make a list of things that you need to do and cross them off as they get done... this way you'll feel like somethings getting done and you'll see your progress.

I love your bears even in their unfinished state. I really love the new design too!!!

Big Bear Hugs,

Theresa

I'm like you--despite having 17,000 WIPs, I still keep starting new stuff! I honestly have been forcing myself lately to actualy finish some of my sewing, crochet and scrapbooking projects. But there are so many cute things to make, and so little time!
Aren't all crafters like that?

Oh Aleta...your little bears are delightful! So many wonderful colors and shapes...

I feel like you right now...too many irons in the fire and not enough hours in the day!

Have a happy weekend!
Hugs, Nancy

Hi Aleta, I like your spin . . . finish the bears and balance will be restored and the extra house will be sold. "What you think about you bring about." It works! Good Luck, Karen.

You are a mother bear and must perforce continue the population, for we all need more bears, for sure! Besides, focus is rather boring, yes? Lucille Ball once said if you want to get something done and need help, ask a busy person, for they always get things done, and yes you are busy, and you are getting things done, beautifully!

I love spinning around like a crazy woman, occasionally I get dizzy, but it still works...
even if life isn't back to the balance you crave, if you finish the bears, you will have one thing to cross off the must do list...
Sounds like a win win to me..
Sorry I missed your event I was out of town. See you next tme..
JOY!
