Bed Rest. Doctor's orders.

I get it from my mom. The Type A personality thing. All things to all people.....perfectly. I go, go, go like the Energizer Bunny. It's all good until I couple it with a bad diet, lack of sleep and worrying about things that I have no control over.

The long and short of it....SMACK!....I've hit a brick wall physically. Apparently even the Energizer Bunny's batteries eventually run out of juice. Who knew?!!

So, it's bed rest for me for the next couple of days. I've worked around that though. I'm sitting on the sofa with one of those little bed tables in front of me so I can work. (Right about now I can hear my mom say, "Aleta Kristine!!" with a totally exasperated tone in her voice. Hi Mom!") Well hey, artist totals need to be run and checks issued! Not only that but I have to get back to the business of bears. So, sofa resting is as good as I can do.

Warmest bear hugs for a lovely week!
Aleta

P.S. I'm leaving you with pictures I took Friday afternoon but didn't get a chance to post. I love having photos to ponder over. What worked? What didn't? What direction to take next? I may not be able to move much physically, but mentally, I'm sharp as a tack! The last quick thought......paint. I'll save that for another post. :o)

Ah, dear friend -
I'm so sorry your batteries ran out! But I'm not surprised - you worked hard to provide a superb event. Again. Just for us! Stop by my blog for a few minutes when you get a chance. You will see Saturday at Flourishes from the other side of the counter.

Thanks to you and Bill for all you do to make your home such a wonderful place to be. Rest, take some deep breaths (and a few naps), go easy on yourself. Soon your batteries will be recharged and you can get off your sofa, oops I mean bed!

I'll return soon to check in on you.

Ah Aleta Kristine. . . you are human :) after all. Hope you are feeling better soon and the batteries re-charge quickly.

I hear ya with the paint ideas. I have indoor and outdoor work to do this May. I am giving myself the entire month to do it though. Slow and steady I hope.

Get lots of rest, Karen. xoxo

You take it easy, now, young lady! We all need our Aleta fix, so leave that brick wall alone, please. :-) I hope you're back to 100% very soon!

I have been loving your pictures. Could you come with a truckload to my house and outfit my empty rooms? Colorado will be beautiful very soon...
