Putting things in a safe place.

While cleaning and rearranging my studio I found a packet of pictures I'd long forgotten about because I put them in a safe place. Well, I've just gone and done the same darned thing again!! I put the found packet in a safe place only to forget where the safe place is!!!

Please. Someone out there, tell me you've done the same thing.

Still looking for that packet of pictures......warmest bear hugs, Aleta

Ahhhh....YES! This happened to me with all of the original black and white (totally irreplaceable) family photos I use on my web site. I did find them, perfectly fine....in their really safe place ;) Drove me bonkers though and contributed to at least 2 sleepless nights of painful brain wracking. I now keep a reminder of the safe place with my patterns *LOL*

HUGS,

Oh yes, my dear...on a regular basis. It's most embarrassing when you ask where your sunglasses are and you are wearing them.

Hugs to you,
Shantell

I've Been there and I've done that but not with pictures.... other things like my scissors, car keys, important papers, etc, etc, etc. I don't think the list needs to go on does it :0)

You're not alone. That happens to me all the time. Specially since I have my daughter (who is 16 months old) I have to hide lots of things from her, then I don't remember where they are, and suddenly my baby has them!...

Found them!!! Yay!! Where were they? In my thread drawer! Of all the safe places, that may just be the weirdest safe place of them all. Who would think to look in a drawer of thread? I found them quite by accident a few minutes ago while searching for......thread!! Who knew? Ha!!

Warmest bear hugs, Aleta

Great! Now you only have to remember where is the thread :)

Hi Aleta,
So glad you found your pictures - I do it on a regular basis these days. The old noggin ain't what it used to be. Bunbun looks so wonderful in your glass dome! I just finished a standing one pulling a cart full of Xmas goodies, and even I'm in love with him LOL!

hugs,

Brenda

Yes, yes, yes....This happens to me all the time...Sometimes it takes years to find it again, as the spot was so safe that even I could never find it again. Normally I try to go back a step at a time in my memory and see where I have been and where I still had the item now lost in my hands....I am glad you found them again! Thread drawer...hmmmm...I had a grandma that used to keep money in a safe place, she never found it again until she used her coffee-grinder und saw little green paper shreds in her coffee....:o) Hugs, Ellen
