My brilliant idea!

I had this brilliant idea to rearrange my studio. Well, several days later I'm still working on this brilliant idea. Moving one big cabinet full of stuff, led to moving another big cabinet full of stuff and so on and so forth. There is a method to this madness though. I will now have two separate desks. One for bear design and one for my paper, paint and glue projects!! Yippety Skippety!!

Keep in mind, the balance of this project needs to be completed by 10am tomorrow morning. A real estate agent will be coming to tell us how quickly, or not!, our house will sell and how much we should realistically expect. This in turn will be the deciding factor whether we proceed to buy our dreamhouse. But more on that later......

In the meantime, I wanted to share a little bit of autumn color at my house. In summer this little shrub is bright lime green with rosey red edges. Look at the spectacular color now!! Planted en masse they'd really be stunning!!

Warmest bear hugs, Aleta

Hi Aleta,
I have taken pictures of my shop/studio and dining room so when my redo is complete I can show before and after...It is soooo scary maybe I will wait for Halloween.. since it probably won't be done before then anyway..
I love the bush do you know the name? It is especially pretty behind the lavender flowers..
Stay warm and dry!
JOY!

Hi Aleta,
Wow - moving by choice - theres a new concept for me LOL! I hope everything works out for you with your dream house.

I love the orange shrub - what is it? Our weather has been so warm the leaves aren't turning - they are just dropping off the trees :(

hugs,

Brenda

The shrub is a Cutleaf Staghorn Sumac, Tiger Eyes. It's supposed to grow about 6'x 6', if memory serves me right. This one is in a pot....which did remarkably well....and was grown in part sun.

Hugs and back to work for me, Aleta

The autumn colors are so lovely :) I hope the real estate market is better by you than it is in Chicago. We've been dying to move too, I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for you, you deserve a dream house, and I know you will make it look like one :D
