A peek inside my Portland studio.

To my surprise, I was recently asked to submit a photo of my studio for possible inclusion in an upcoming magazine article. I don't know that it will make it into the article but it was a really good reason to tidy things up a bit!!

I would have much preferred to submit a photo of my studio space at Mt. Pleasant. Sadly, there's not much to show there yet. It's still a work in progress. Perhaps someday. :o)

Hug your family, tell them you love them, and have a great weekend!

Warmest bear hugs, Aleta

Oh! I would feel right at home in your Portland studio. But I imagine I would feel that way about your Mt. Pleasant studio when you have completely moved into it. You have such incredible treasures and sweet things in your studio. Exactly how I would love mine to look but it's too tiny. Thanks for sharing your space with us. It inspires me! ~Adrienne~

Hi Aleta,

Love your studio, it has such a romantic, serene feel. How are you able to have your sewing machine in the middle of the room? Do you have an outlet in the floor or are you a magician in hiding the cord?

Love the things that you do,

Jill

..when I grow up and start making bigger bears, I want a studio as elegant as you!

Ahhh, but I do love the creative mess though.

Lovely studio, Aleta! Can't wait to see your new one at Mt. Pleasant when you finish it. =)
