Merry Christmas!

Yup. That's the name of this daylily....Merry Christmas. It's been blooming in my garden for a few weeks now. And, it keeps going and going and going. I love the color combination of the bright lime green center and the deep red petals. It's been Christmas in July and now August!!

Speaking of August....is it really August? Already? It was just June!! Where has the time gone? In all reality, I really am thinking ahead to Christmas (running and ducking for cover). It's okay, you can hit me with a big stick for bringing it up. You'll be happy to know though, I have no idea how many shopping days there are left. I bet one or two of you out there do though!! Ha!

Warmest Pink Wednesday bear hugs, Aleta

Hi Aleta...

Love the lily..so beautiful.

I mentioned Christmas in my last post..Awful, I know...but we artists have to think ahead. I have a daily journal and it tells me how many days are left in the year...I try not to look!

Have a great weekend!

Hi Aleta -
Your daylily is absolutely gorgeous! I just have yellow daylillies and I've been thinking I need to add others. Such a bright spot of color in the garden. Thanks for inspiring me to stop by the garden center soon.

We do need to think about Christmas. The year is going by so fast - if we're not careful Christmas will sneak up on us!
